Seven years ago, I took some blurry photos and put them in a folder.
I looked at them recently, and strangely, I can remember where they were taken and what these blurry blobs are.
This month, I've been working on rereleasing Elliott’s Blur, an iOS camera app that allows you to take blurry photos on your phone.

Remaking Elliott's Blur got me thinking about other software I'd like in my daily life. Software that I've always dreamed of since I was a kid.
I'm writing to you on an HTML editor that I recently made. When I spend so much time writing HTML, it's funny that I didn't consider making my own HTML editor until now.

In February 2026, Elliott started creating personal software tools: (1) an HTML editor, (2) an mp3 music player, (3) a notes app. He is considering releasing some of these publicly if there's interest.
