url time really compliments irl time
I moved to Amsterdam in February. 5 months feels like 1 month. Many things are in motion. I'm grateful for the friends, old and new, that have welcomed me with kindness and support me while I've been here.
In March, we watched the tennis courts through the big (IMAX screen) windows. It snowed, and they turned into soft white rectangles. In May, we touched giant rocks in the sun. We tried to communicate with them through our feet. Sometimes it worked. In June, we turned into children in a theme park and experienced coaster adrenaline and talking mushrooms.
I'm looking for a new place to live this September... preferably with others... in Amsterdam... Rotterdam... somewhere else in Europe for 2-3 months... or even in the US, although I'd like to stay out here for now... keep me in mind... thank you, dear reader.
