It's been a while since I've sent a newsletter. Hope everyone is doing well out there. WebsitesI've been working on a new version of an older project called Gossip's Web. Gossip's Web is a directory of personal websites, experiments, and writing. Gossips is different from other link sharing websites in that it focuses on personal/handmade websites instead of commercial, news, or ad-driven sites. In other newsIn September I moved closer to Prospect Park. Walking in the park daily has been pretty life changing. While I was in the Long Meadow this week, I was thinking about how our minds expand to fill the space we're in. Sometimes when I've been in my apartment for too long, my perception of the world becomes narrow but in the park there are endless things (leaves) to think about. I've also been trying out a new email address. It's running on Mail-in-a-box, a free open source mail server software. As they say on their site, "It’s sort of like making your own gmail, but one you control from top to bottom." I would recommend trying it. Dreams1. Flying in a small airplane with a few close friends. The captain tells us that there will be turbulence. I look out the window and see another airplane, just like the one we are flying in. It's engine goes out and it glides and lands in the ocean. A few minutes later, our airplane does the same. 2. My entire family is acting in a play together. The theater is giant, multileveled, and there's no sign of any audience.
