Hello friend,
The world is spinning again just like a doorknob. By the way, thank you for all the knob pics. The index is close to completion.

I've been thinking like an archivist lately. Actually, years ago I was an archivist at a gallery in San Francisco. I used this label maker daily to keep track of the art that was coming and going. Each artwork had some funny identification number just like a database - sometimes I felt like I was in a giant database.
Working at the gallery, I loved looking at all the artwork wrapped in plastic. Each number in the inventory contained a time capsule of human labor and thought. Sometimes I pretended that everything in the inventory was the same - each plastic wrapping containing a glass tube, etched with the date and time it was created.

Recently, I archived my websites in one long Youtube video. I know I'll thank myself later because websites come and go in the blink of an eye. That said, I do hope they will hang around for at least a couple years.
Every website I've made from 2016 - 2021. (link)
I've said this before somewhere on my website, but I'm ready to move on from websites. Maybe I'll make some etched glass tubes next. What kinds of things are you excited about offline?
P.S. If you enjoy this newsletter consider sending it to a friend or recommending it elsewhere. Here's a subscribe page that you can share.
From memory,
