Dear reader,
Hope you are having a calm and energizing summer. I’m back in the studio working on a new collaborative project and reflecting on a global event celebrating HTML that took place last month. You can learn more about these projects below, but first, here are some recent images...

- a storm as it drenched the city and the building's windows
- a dimly lit living room with music playing
- sitting in a hammock and watching the light on the limestone walls
Internet Phone Book – Open call for sites

Over the past several months, Kristoffer Tjalve and I have been busy working on the Internet Phone Book, a physical directory for exploring the vast poetic web. The book will be released at Naive Yearly on September 20th in Ljubljana, Slovenia. If you would like your site to be considered for the first edition or just to be notified when the book is released, visit the site. Also, if you or someone you know might want to carry the book or sponsor it, reach out to us.

File Life

This month, I attended Robida's Academy of Margins summer school. Each of us was invited to create an activity for the group. I asked everyone to bring a file from home to Topolò—images, text, and songs. Together, by the river, we wrote metadata for these files and later exchanged them. The metadata is hosted on a special website powered by an Ultralight Computer provided by Benjamin Earl. Special thanks to Vida Rucli for helping me shape this workshop, to the entire Robida Collective for this beautiful experience—it was such a joy wandering, reading, traversing, hacking, writing, and learning from everyone.
You can also revisit the origins of the File Life project here.
The 29KB index.html containing everyone's metadata hosted at wifi network River at Robida.
